Hi, I'm McKennan Hansen, a proud Southern Utah native. I've built a life for myself that embodies the values of hard work, achievement, and service. I studied and completed BS degrees in Finance and MPA at SUU, the college my great-grandfather helped build by hauling timber with horse teams and wagons. My greatest joy comes from caring for my two children, husband, and extended family, all of whom are part of this vibrant community.
My best business practice is matching your needs with the right solution. From starting a new chapter with a new home or listing to find the next, I am here to serve you and your family. I do this by sitting down with you and carefully assessing your unique situation, which deserves the utmost attention to detail. My mission is not to sell you a product but to help you decide what you need to open or close the current chapter.
I take the time to prioritize my clients and community. I do this not just to ensure their real estate needs are met but also to let them know they have options in the current market. By doing this, my community understands I want to add value and educate them regarding options.
My commitment to this community goes beyond real estate. I'm actively involved in various community initiatives, including the annual Larkin Group Basket Brigade, Vision Iron County Economic Development, and a women's group, Sisters & Mothers Authentically Showing up to Help (SMASH.) I believe in adding value and giving back, which is why I host a local radio show, Wired Wednesday, each Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:00 am on KSUB 590 AM. This is my way of staying connected and contributing to the community that has given me so much.
Life, in general, can be daunting and frustrating, but I am here to help make it a little less so. Together, you and I can help build and protect what's yours and help you and your family to prepare for the future.

Upon seeing the usefulness of these conversations, she thought, we need to have away to get this information out and about. McKennan decided to create a women's group to sit down and discuss these topics. From there, SMASH was born.
SMASH meets on the third Monday of each month between 1:30 and 3:00 pm. SMASH is open to. All the topics presented are picked specifically to empower women. They include everything from scheduling time to goal setting to emotional wellness. For more information on SMASH, please visit our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61554283486447
VCI has also worked with the general public. In the past, they have held focus groups and surveys which "directly influenced VIC's processes and future directions." They continue to encourage any Iron County resident who is interested ot participate. If you are interested in learning more about VCI or participating, you can go to https://visionironcounty.org/.
